How to install DomDomSoft Manga Downloader in MAC?

We need Mono.
The fact is Mono doesn’t completely understand MS .NET binary files, and some classes are not deployed in Mono, so it crashes frequently, but if you are willing to run it again every time it crashes ( it continues downloading from where it stopped)

1/ First you have to install Mono runtime for Mac here’s the link:
http://www.go-mono.com/mono-downloads/download.html
http://ftp.novell.com/pub/mono/archive/2.8/macos-10-universal/10/MonoFramework-2.8_10.macos10.novell.universal.dmg

2/ After installing it, extract DomDomSoft in a new folder.

3/ Open terminal and go to the folder where you just extracted DomDomSoft.

4/ Type: “mono DomDomSoft\ Manga\ Downloader.exe” and don’t close the terminal, it may take some time to launch.

5/ If you experience crashes , just repeat step 4.

Again, Mono’s not completely  .NET compatible and you will face some difficulties dealing with user interface, but it works well and i (ashbel) already downloaded tons… TONS of manga using it.

If your DomDomSoft Manga Downloader become slow, maybe because the size of “Config\NewMangaList” grow big.

In that case, you should remove (delete) it, then restart the program.

How to install DomDomSoft Manga Downloader

First, please make sure that you already extracted DomDomSoft Manga Downloader zip file to new folder.

DomDomSoft Manga Downloader is a portable application so normally you don’t need to install. But in Windows 7 and Windows Vista, it has UAC feature that block application from writing in system partition (usually C:\).
