DomDomSoft Anime Downloader 0.6 Beta release
In this release, we add Speed Limiter feature and fix high CPU load bug. No automatic update for this release, you need to re-install DomDomSoft Anime Downloader.
Because it’s still in Beta state, there are a lot of bugs and it does not have all anime yet, we will try to update all anime as fast as we can. Please reports any bugs you find by commenting here.
You need .Net Framework 3.5 or 4.0 in order to use this software.

I have this problem after I finish download, in the unzipping process, it happen a lot, I suggest you keep the file in zip and we unzip it manually, here is the details of the bug on windows 7 :

All i can say, This is awesome.
I was not expecting much when i saw the banner in manga downloader and thought quite few reasons why it wouldn’t be much benefit but after installing, when i saw available anime list and download speed. only “Awesome” word came out my mouth. this could be the greatest anime downloader if you guys keep it up like this and of-course free. i will contribute with donation and hopefully many other peoples.

I use mangadownloader (the free version though, I’m still a student who can’t earn her own money) and am completely satisfied with it! When I have money, I’ll absolutely buy this product!
i have downloaded and installed it but after several days it couldn’t be opened again. just show icon on taskbar, the window doesn’t show/appear.

yes, me too, but I solved the problem by right click then maximize and after a few day it was solved on its own, don’t know how. hope I was helpfull.

Windows 7 does not give option to maximize icons on the taskbar we have to click on the icons to maximize them and domdomsoft anime downloader does not maximizes even after when i click on domdomsoft anime downloader icon on the taskbar.

Yes you can, put the curser on the domdomsoft anime icon then move the curser up to the new icon that appears and right click then maximize. Of course the soft should be running not just pinned on the task bar
so hows this program actuaally works?? does all anime is downloaded from dom2 server or from somewhere else?

Dont tell wrong things dude, open the software, open traffic analyzer and check whether the software connect to your site or not.
proxy didn’t worked at my campus dude…

I’m not, i think you’re trolling.
Just turn off your anime server and DAD will still work fine. So do not tell wrong thing like bandwidth thief.
the software is great , with an amazing idea … i proudly rate it 10/10 ! =3
but i’m just wondering or maybe suggesting… if you guys use encoded episode (means size gets to be 80-100 MB) , it will help you guys with the bandwidth allocation and would be easier to download and take less space on hard drives… i say that you guys work with an encoded animes upload site or encode them yourselves
Wow, i’m already impressed with your manga downloader and now it’s anime downloader :). Really nice, please keep up the good work. Oh yeah, i want to report that the anime episode a little laidback just one episode slower than the new anime list , but overall it’s really magnificient , thank you for the work

I have a bug for you.
When I was done downloading a series, and it reached the “Unzipping” stage.
The program froze, and I was forced to killswitch it.
When I started it again, it immediately froze again, and I killed it.
Then I deleted the file that it was trying to unzip, and now the program crashes on startup.
I hope it will help your development!:)
PS: would it be impossible to add the “full metal panic fumoffu” season? :>

It is not limited to any series in particular.
It happened to me when I was downloading several different series.
I think it’s when you que more than 1 download. I would explain it, it “chokes”.
Also, I have updated my list, but it still somehow refuses to show :/

i have some problem with the downloader recently, most of the time it’s stop download (the speed is not move at all) however when i close and reopen dad, the speed is back to normal for only few secs then it’s dropped and stopped. not sure if it’s a bug or not. i check my internet connection but it’s just fine.
I’d like to suggest some features, if you can, to add in either the next BETA or full release.
1) File size info
-While I, personally, don’t care (WOOHOO GREAT INTERNET!), I know many folks do.
2) A feature that tells if the anime is DUB, SUB, or Dual Audio.
-I know SOME series do this in the file name, but most don’t.
-I’ve just been downloading the first episode to see, but movies are a bit…trickier.
3) Create a premium option, like with DDSMD, that allows for more…adult…options.
-Hey, it’s why the internet was created…right?
4) It’s more of a preference, but I THINK the filter from DDSMD is easier to use and might work a little better then the current one used in DDSAD.
-Then again, maybe I’m just being lazy.
Anyways, thanks for reading and I hope to see your team continue to develop and support both DDS software.
