DomDomSoft Anime Downloader 0.4 Beta release
The DomDomSoft Anime Downloader project hibernated for a long time now come alive! It cost us a lot of efforts, we hope you will love it like DomDomSoft Manga Downloader.
DomDomSoft Anime Downloader allow you download high quality anime easier and faster.
Because it’s still in Beta state, there are a lot of bugs and it does not have all anime yet, we will try to update all anime as fast as we can. Please reports any bugs you find by commenting here.
More features will be added in near future.
You need .Net Framework 3.5 or 4.0 in order to use this software.

Nice software. BTW where is the anime downloaded from? What server?
Few things I noticed.
1. Description: Box is a bit too small making it difficult to read.
2. Category: Please word wrap this it’s difficult to see the categories when trying to hover mouse pointer and read the hint.
3. Downloads Queued: When I selected more than one anime in a series to be downloaded it did not go into the queue on the right hand side until download started so I kept attempting to download more than one than eventually I had 2 downloads of the same anime being downloaded.
4. Queue Manager: Did not show the anime that was queued up for download.

Oops… forgot one other thing.
5. Filter: When filtering and you select for example Ecchi as a filter there is no all option for the sub-category so have to manually select boing and pantsu in the filter. Now Ecchi only has two sub-categories but I am sure some others have alot so I would like to see an all selection to add all sub-categories to the filter search.
I don`t get it! where is the anime downloaded from?

thanks a lot for this great program i hope you continue with it and it becomes a great hit i have just one note and that is displaying the episode size because this an vary important thing for many people Including myself and there is another thing but its nota important as the first thing and is displaying the translating team i will be waiting for your reply

well i noticed that the size is around 200mb (+/-5 episodes=1gb)
with maxthon the size is 100mb/less for an episode
so its cheaper in data storage
Yes,please add the feature to display episode size.
i can’t even open the DAD,,,
there is specific folder i must install this?
i usually don’t install in default folder
btw i already instal net. framewrok from 3 to 4 (3.5 included) and i can open my DMD normally

“DAD have stopped working” message, and suddenly close
i instal at C:\Users\user\Desktop\Sun Flower\DomDomSoft Anime Downloader
not in the default folder (is it wrong)
also i already have net framework and DMD work fine
hmmm… AFAIK, dropbox have a set number of fair usage on bandwidth for each file. excessive bandwidth usage may lead to account suspension.
my OS is winXP SP3 but unfortunately i cannot open the program.
i have .net framework 4 installed in my laptop so i’m wondering what the problem is.
work fine but i hope u can add server that provide small size 60-90 mb (+-) for those who has low connection

Yes,it would be great if can add server that provide small size anime episodes(each 60-90 mb) for people with slow internet connection.
is it also posseble to download it in

.flv is 1/2 from the size the downloader downloads it in (tested with maxthon) (series bobobo-bo bo-bobo)
is it also posseble to have more servers (in case 1 is broken)

found an problem already
the episodes are dubbed
it would be better if its just subbed (this means no cutted episodes, it is better this way, so you dont lose inportant storyline episodes)

I only downloaded Kanon 2002 and Digimon Season 1 so far and they both are subbed.

well i downloaded naruto and it was dubbed
naruto dubbed is terreble (in usa they did an weapon cut and sexy-jutsu cut, this are the best/funniest parts)

try change in the media player the dubbing (if it dual dub)
Few new items I have found with the downloader.
6. The window does not remember it’s size when re-opened.
7. Next button is missing on the detail screen so can not next to see description of the next anime to locate what I may want to watch.
8. I would like to see a quick filter button for New only so can quickly filter new anime to see what is new. Would like to see this same filter in the Manga Downloader also.

ahh… finally the anime downloader … the speed is awesome … I love it already … thanks guys …
is it posseble to make it to an porteble version
easyer to use on an different pc
or even an boxee box support (for boxeebox, [now version 1.5+])
It often crashed when resuming download and sometimes didn’t finish when unzipping file.

Same thing here. Crashes when resuming download and after restarting the software. Can only download one series at a time, then crashes.

Same problem too. It sometimes crashes when it resumes a download. Also it crashes most of the time when i right click and select “Remove Completed.” It does it most of the time, but not always.
Also it would be nice to make the boot time faster. Portal 2 takes about the same amount of time. -.-
Hi, nice job for the anime downloader, when i check i only find HD res, so if please add SD res (e.g.800&600),

I downloaded the file and intalled the file fine, i have run the program and to every title I open i have an error, before I see the number of episode or whatever (because I don’t know what is shown) and this message appear:
Client found response content type of text/html, but expected text/xml. The request tailed with the error message:
The requested URL could not be retrieved
(Downloadlnformation)
pleaze fix this problem or tell me how to fix it if it is my problem, I use windows 7 core i5

it’s okay the problem is fixed,
it was my mistake, I was running ultrasurf while running the program.
