About the DomDomSoft Manga Downloader crack got popular
Hi, this is sad news.
In the past week, we can only sell 1 year license of DomDomSoft Manga Downloader. It means we can only earn about 1 USD/day. I think it’s because of the crack of DomDomSoft Manga Downloader got popular.
We tried our best to make useful software, but we have hard time now.
We’re not big company like Microsoft or Apple, we’re poor. Not many people purchase DomDomSoft Manga Downloader so it’s hardly to cover a cost of food, my co-workers payment. I’m so stress about it.
So please, if you find any crack please report it to the file hosting owner to delete it, we need your help to keep DomDomSoft alive!

Ah, sorry for splitting the comment. But how about using the live database instead of this offline-stored one? This means that when you start the program, the database will be automatically synced with the server, and will be removed right after the program exits. Note that the app will send the license number, and the server will check, as soon as it’s a valid key, the server will allow MD to download the manga list, otherwise the sync cannot be done. If so, any crack that prevents MD from license checking will also do the same to the manga list.

Cannot, some clients just have slow connect to domdomsoft server, it will make the software bad.

indeed, it’s sad story about many licensing software get cracked and published everywhere (check “google” for it)
well, i still keep using my free until i got job and get myself a credit card
instead of the issue, i suggest that Domdom make partnership with someone in some country so you can transfer via that Country Banks.
most of my problem to get licensed software is i don’t have Paypal account neither credit cards.
some online games and file storage even use SMS based pay (called “Boku” if i’m not wrong), and make premium via bank transfer in that country too (partnership with someone not a limited liability company)
so i can pay the “tribute” with easiness

Hi, I’m currently using a crack version of Domdomsoft. Yes, I’m so so sorry for not buying a license and wasting your hard work and time on making this wonderful and simple software. But I have to tell you this, the main reason why I don’t buy the license is because I don’t have paypal. I’m kinda agree with @reivatin. I’m pretty sure that the majority of peoples who downloading this software are kids or youngters who has no credit card left alone paypal which limit them from buying the license. The same goes here, I don’t have credit card nor paypal, so its tough for me to purchase that damn license. Not that I don’t have any cash, it just that I don’t have any easy way to pay for it. You should know that most peoples from SEA especially youngters doesn’t have credit card of their own especially when they’re under 18 because many countries in SEA are still developing and of course their life is still low. Also, other method like bank transfer and stuff like that is still tough and a big deal for us. Yet again, I have to say this, I’m sorry for using a crack version of Domdomsoft but I just got no other choice at all. I won’t tell other peoples about where I got the crack. But if you can, please enable peoples to buy the license via their mobile phone credits cuz many peoples including youngsters has their own mobile phone. I begging you, please publish this comment so that peoples can see it.

First, I want to thank you for your hard work in creating this wonderful software. I really love this software. I’ve been using Domdomsoft for more than 2 years but only recently I bought the license. the main reason is the same with some people up there, I didn’t have a credit card nor paypal.
I hope there will be an easier payment method in the future so a poor guy like me can help you by buying the license

I prefer the limited ersion. The crack version is really slow and has lots of bugs (downloading related). I gave up on the cracked version and use the Limited Version much better than the cracked (I don’t have paypal but I have BPI credit card)
I have another idea :
how about making it available on the upcoming Windows store. you could have a free version with advertisement and a paid version.
the good thing about this is that windows store is going to have a payment system in the local currency of more than 70 countries and makeing it easier for pepole to buy stuff.

But there is paypal, isn’t it? The pay out could be via paypal. Or is it impossible or something. I don’t know anything about pay pal system after all.
Mình nghĩ là bạn nên cho active online vì ai dùng DMD mà không có internet mấy đâu :).
Mình mới chỉ thấy DMD check Date hợp lệ từ server của DDS thôi. Còn Serial thì generate ra dễ quá. Cũng tại viết bằng C# nên dễ dịch ngược lại dù bạn có dùng Eazfuscator.NET để mã hóa.
(Mình cũng đã mua bản quyền DMD rồi :D)
Nói cho cùng thì 1 phần mềm hay thường không tránh khỏi bị crack. Đến Windows còn bị nữa là. Dù sao cũng mong bạn tìm ra phương pháp chống crack khả thi hơn (mình cũng là 1 developer).
why you not make affiliate with 3rd party in every regional/country, and put link to they store/email?
it very simple solusion, since 3rd party will be your right hand for sales, and help you to monitor every crack (since they get no profit from crack).

Maybe you could lower the price? The lifetime license is expensive, compared to modern app-pricing trends ($1-5), and yearly licence is a turn-down in itself.
You could replace most of that $25 with a clever donation system, which would bring back cracked version users and allow loyal supporters to spend even more than $25 – especially if they will see development plans and needs.

Are u crazy thts the best price for both the lifetime/year money I would buy it!!!
Lowering the price down wouldn’t make sense they took their time making this manga downloader so everybody should pay like $7.95(one year) or $25 dollars for a thing a program so amazing.

Thank you for illustrating the notion that loyal fans are willing to pay even more than $25.
As for other people who are preferring cracked non-updatable version now… Most people will gladly support independent developers of useful software if the payment is easy enough and isn’t above their personal limit for software, which is usually set by comparison to other software and life priorities. Users are willing to pay even more if they see where money are going (as proved by latest kickstarter trend).

To be honest I did have a crack version of DDS manga downloader a year ago.The problem is in the crack version you cant get the cool updates and bug fixing mechanism so any of you reading and using the cracked version ya better get the lifetime license its wirth the value considering the team always updating the software. Btw I used my dads credit card
I would suggest to change the tool and display Advertise in it. Remove the limitations and as long as you are free user you see the advertisement and you as dev making some money with showing ads..
Premium Version could be without advertise.
I think most Issue for cracking is to get access to the hentai stuff.
So instead of getting problems with em. Give another opportunity.
Another Problem is.. those Crackers making money with offering cracked version by upload and advertise. So if you take the reasons to use cracked version .. they wont have another money source
I didn’t even KNOW there was a crack.
Regardless, I’ve gotten 2 (or was it 3?) Full Versions of this program and have suggested it to my friends and folks I know online.
I also plan on getting another “premium” once this one runs out.
Well, at least as long as it looks like it’ll still be supported.
